How accessible is the Show?

Driffield Show is held on a mix of hard standing and grassed areas, some of which may be uneven. All our buildings and marquees are fully accessible for those with mobility issues. Disabled toilet facilities across the Showground are also accessible for those with mobility issues.

 

Is my carer eligible for a free ticket?

We do not wish to discriminate against visitors with disabilities so full admission rates will be charged.  However, if a visitor has a full time carer a complimentary carers ticket is available for them.

  • Complimentary carers tickets are available either in advance from www.driffieldshowground.co.uk or on the day at the gate.  All visiting guests except for the carer are required to  purchased an entry ticket which are available now at the discounted advance rate of £16 online or at the gate price of £20 if purchased on the day.

Please note:

To gain free entry for the carer on the day of the Show you will need to present one of the following forms of documentation at the gate:

  • A valid blue badge

  • Allowance book or letter confirming entitlement to Disability Living Allowance (DLA), or Personal Independence Payments (PIP)

  • Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance letter of award

  • Incapacity Benefit books or confirmation letter

  • Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) or BD8
