An evening with Mark Atkinson

The Driffield Agricultural Society are delighted to announce that they will be hosting ‘An Evening with Mark Atkinson’ at the Driffield Showground in the Rix Pavilion on Tuesday 19th March commencing at 7.00pm.
Mark and his family are based in the heart of Yorkshire. They started out as dairy farmers. Mark attended Bishop Burton College and then took over when his father retired to do the milking. In 1996 diversified from Agricultural into Equestrian and has never looked back. Having ridden all his life and spending many years showjumping Mark opened Asselby Grange Livery Yard and Riding School in 1996. He then started providing horses for re enactment and jousting, His work expanded into the field of TV and Film, and he has since provided horses, carriages and riders and taken on the role of Horsemaster on many productions across the UK and internationally. He is supported by his wife Jill, Ben his son and Georgie his daughter in law.
Ben alongside his father, excels in the live performance here and internationally. Riding in his first display at the age of 11.
Tickets for the evening are priced at £15 each and includes a light supper, there will also be a bar.
Proceeds of the evening help to fund transport costs for our Schools Food and Farming Day held in May.
