The Driffield Agricultural Society are delighted to announce that they will be hosting ‘An Evening with Matt Jackson-Smith at the Driffield Showground.

Join us for a warm and witty evening in the company of Matt Jackson-Smith, one of the stars of The Yorkshire Vet. Whether you're an animal lover, a fan of the series, or simply enjoy a good story well told, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Matt brings a fresh face and modern energy to the world of veterinary care—often described as a “James Herriot for the 21st century.” He’ll be sharing tales from his life in the Yorkshire countryside, giving a behind-the-scenes peek at the hit Channel 5 series, and answering your questions in his trademark down-to-earth style.

​

From watching the show with his gran as a boy to becoming one of its best-loved vets, Matt’s journey is as heartwarming as it is inspiring.

​

Tickets for the evening are priced at £20 each and includes a light supper, there will also be a bar.

 

Also an opportunity to purchase Matts book on the evening.

​

Proceeds of the evening help to fund transport costs for our Schools Food and Farming Day held in May.
