The East Riding Country Fair has great value at it's heart which is why entry for under 16s is absolutely FREE, making this an affordable weekend away for all ages.

ARENA ENTERTAINMENT!
As always, the East Riding Country Fair will be packed full of live arena entertainment. Visitors can expect live entertainment in the Entertainment from JOSEPH'S AMAZING RACING PIGS on the Saturday plus lots of fun, games and activities in the arena from the Cadets on both days!
LAWNMOWER RACING!
You are NOT going to want to miss this! Dreamt up over a few pints in a West Sussex country pub back in 1973... Lawn Mower Racing was born and the sport has never looked back since, spreading worldwide and developing into a professionally run, competitive, but above all, fun pursuit. And now, it is coming to the Driffield Showground! Join the North West Lawn Mower Racing Association at the East Riding Country Fair and see for yourself, one of the more... unusual forms of motor sport!
THE FARM YARD!
Ah, the farm yard! Here you will find all your favourite farmyard friends, PLUS giant tortoises and Birds of Prey!
FANTASTIC FREE ACTIVITIES!
DO NOT miss out on the Outdoor Pursuits Zone! It's full of FREE activities for both adults and children to enjoy! Including Bouncy Castles & Slides!
FESTIVAL BAR AND LIVE MUSIC!
The Festival Bar is at the heart of the East Riding Country Fair and will be open: Friday 1st May 6:00pm until late, Saturday 2nd May 11:00am until late and Sunday 3rd May 11:00am until 6:00pm.

CARAVAN AND CAMPING!
With activities and entertainment all day and then well into the evening at the Real Ale & Cider Festival, why not make the most of a visit to the East Riding Country Fair with a Weekend Caravan or Camping Pass!
Caravan and Camping is available for 1, 2 or 3 nights from Friday 4th May and is priced at £20.00 per pitch, shower and toilet facilities are available but there is no electric hook up. CLICK HERE to book weekend camping. (Entry tickets for the East Riding Country Fair sold separately.)
WILDLIFE AND ECO ZONE!
The Wildlife Zone will be centred around the Rix Pavilion Event Centre with both inside and outside activities and stands planned to create an educational and fun area for children and families to get involved with some free interactive and ‘hands on’ opportunities, including making bird feeders and bug hotels!
We will also be showing Blue Planet II on the BIG screen!
This area will also include a hands-on experience with mini beasts and snakes courtesy of Go Wild Animal Encounters!
We are also working closely with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, the RSPB, the East Yorkshire Bat Group and the National Trust to lay on further interactive, educational activities for children and families to spread awareness on how single use plastics are affecting the countryside.
EQUINE CLASSES
The East Riding Country Fair will once again feature a weekend of In Hand, Ridden & Fun Showing which will once again be hosted and ran by Patrington Mill Show & Livery Yard. Saturday is set to be a great day kicking off the proceedings at 10:00am with 50 in hand classes, 17 Championships and an Overall Supreme Championship. Sunday will continue and conclude with 45 Ridden Classes, 14 Championships and an Overall Supreme Championship with places on both days awarded up to 6th with rosettes for every competitor, plus both Supremes will win a cash prize of £50 each! Entries can be taken in advance and on the Weekend.
RYEDALE RESCUE FUN DOG SHOW
A firm favourite across the weekend is the Ryedale Rescue Fun Dog show will be once again be running both days with 20 fantastic classes and is open to all ages, categories include best trick and fancy dress.
There are prizes on offer all weekend for our dog competitions.
Entries will be taken from 10:30am each day with judging commencing from 12:00pm.
WORKING GUN DOG TRIALS
Darren Kirk has been training Gun dogs for over 25 years and has the experience to get you and your dog to a standard you can be proud of. Darren and his team of trainers from across the UK will be on hand to assess you and your dog and give you structured training to ensure you are heading in the right direction to win your aspirations. Darren said “We see thousands of gun dogs and handlers every year and come across all kinds of issues and you can be sure it does not take us long to get you back on track. Regardless of the age of your dog we can help you gain control in any environment and ensure you feel confident to continue into this wonderful sport” - "you only get out what you put in" and this is very true. If you are willing to put in the effort, there is no reason you cannot be working your dog on your local shoot or entering trials and working tests. Kirkbourne Spaniels will also be demonstrating their own dog’s agility in the Entertainment Arena.

LIVING HISTORY & EXHIBITORS
If you have an American Vehicle, World War Exhibit, Vintage Tractor or anything else of interest and you would like to show it off, click the button below for an entry form! Exhibiting is FREE and Weekend camping and caravanning is also FREE for exhibitors. Exhibitors may arrive from 12:00pm on the Friday and stay until 12:00pm on the Monday.

There is no vehicle movement on the Main Showfield between 9:45am and 5:00pm each day.

TRADE STANDS
With over 19,000 people in attendance across the Weekend and Trade spaces starting from just £28 per metre, the two day East Riding Country Fair provides a great platform for you to reach out to potential new customers and old alike.
Many of our exhibitors wish to increase there exposure across the weekend, below are the marketing packages we have prepared and the benefits that we can offer your business in terms of promotion through the East Riding County Fair at Driffield Showground.
The Main Ring and Horse Show will form the central focus point of the East Riding Country Fair and offers the potential for maximum sponsorship opportunities. The ring is in use literally from before the gates open until they close in the evening and has a packed timetable throughout the day. The Driffield Showground has a prestigious reputation within the equestrian world and the main ring at the Country Fair provides the platform to showcase this to up to 19,000 people throughout the weekend, we can’t guarantee the weather but we can guarantee a great day out for all the family!
